Newly formed colloquium for interchange between veterinary and human pathologists at the NIH. Topics chosen for discussion pertain mainly to translation of animal models of human disease.

Organizers include: Josh Webster, D.V.M., Ph.D., Jaime Rodriguez-Canales, M.D. (LCM Core Lab, Laboratory of Pathology), R. Mark Simpson, D.V.M., Ph.D., and Stephen M. Hewitt, M.D., Ph.D. (Tissue Array Research Program and Advanced Molecular Pathology Laboratory, Laboratory of Pathology.

The collaboration has developed and held discussion sections and symposia on comparative pathology of prostate cancer and bronchiolo-alveolar lung cancer. CBSTP work-in-progress seminars

Bimonthly on a rotating basis, trainees present their on-going dissertation research. This provides opportunities for developing presentation skills and allowing for interaction among the other trainees engaging in dissertation research and mentors.
