The program strongly embraces its strength to provide a systems biology approach to study design and analysis. Its strength lies in the capability of veterinary specialists to translate across species, allowing for understanding of disease pathogenesis and the ability to ascertain the validity of specific animal models of human disease. To appreciate the scope and depth of research our trainees have undertaken we have included a small biosketch of each of our CBSTP Alumni as well as a list of selected trainee peer-reviewed scientific publications.
