Dr. Andrews pursued further training in the NIH Comparative Biomedical Scientist Training Program (CBSTP) in partnership with Michigan State University and the National Cancer Institute. She became an ACVP boarded pathologist in 2015 and was awarded her Ph.D. in 2018. She is currently a veterinary pathologist at Charles River Associates, Frederick, MD.
